A. Guarantee - The family of Woodrow Hawkinson and Auction Company are describing and listing the items to be sold as accurately as possible. There are no guarantees at this sale. We aim to be as fair as possible, but buyers must do their own inspections.
B. Receipt of Auction Items - Payment must be made in full to the cashier before the purchaser can receive the item. The customer must show a form of identification and full address along with phone number to register as a buyer. A bank letter of credit or approval by the Sellers or the Auction Company will be required if you plan to spend $10,000 or more.
C. Absentee Bids - Phone bids will be accepted only with a 25% deposit that has been approved prior to the sale by the Auction Company. Mail and fax bids will also be accepted with the same 25% deposit and approval only if the Auction Company receives these bids on a business day prior to the auction day. Your bid is not necessarily what you will pay, meaning that you may get the item for less, considering what the last bidder bids against you. If you are not the successful bidder, your deposit will be mailed to you the following day. The Sellers and the Auction Company will not be liable if, for some reason, your bid was not executed properly. If you are a very particular customer, we recommend that you never submit an absentee bid. The reason for this being that what we might think is mint condition, you may think is only fair condition.
